Android: Wifi unable to obtain IP

After an upgrade to Cyanogenmod 9.0 RC2, my smultron phone could not connect to the wifi network anymore. Authentication with the AP works fine (both WPA2 PSK and EAP) but obtaining an IP address with DHCP fails.

For now the solution is a statically set IP address for each network.

While searching a solution for the wifi connection problem, my network received a functional WPA2-EAP authentication system (FreeRADIUS). For now all users are hardcoded. Next step would be to use PAM as user backend. Ideally FreeRADIUS would be integrated with FreeIPA, but this will probably take some years to come (see here).
